I took these picts from a neighborhood that's currently being built across the river in Indiana. I thank the people at google for making Google Earth or I would never have known this spot was up there. The original pictures were pretty hazy so I touched them up a bit.


Here's Bours Point from Google Earth. It looks out over Riverview Park in Kentucky. This program dosn't really do the height difference justice. It's high enough that the steep ride up on my bike poped my ears.





Here's the northeast view. The eagle in the pict was 1 of 2 hanging around in a nearby tree when I arrived. The area below is a barge gravel loading/unloading platform, there're some railroad tracks that pass through there to load up also.

Here's downtown Louisville. It's sad that this is as clear as it gets with all the polution around here. It was only about 10 AM at the time.





Here's the east view overlooking Riverview Park at the end on Greenwood Rd. Me and friends used to hang at here a lot in high school.

Here's the plant that stores/supplies the gravel for the trains and barges passing through.
