Visual Basic Runtime Files .99MB - You need to install this before being able to run ANY Visual Basic programs. It's a quick download and minor install.
Access 2000 Runtime 32.2MB - You need to install this before running any program that saves to an Access Database. Usually the program description will point this out so if you don't need it (or have MS Office 2000 or higher installed) then don't bother. This install is a little larger but it's the direct "free" file from Microsoft. I'm just hosting it because of their track record of discontinuing products.
![]() | Darkhold HTML Editor 2nd Edition, Version 4 This is the program I wrote to create and edit all my web sites. I prefer clean code and small programs so this fulfills my needs perfectly. This program can be run from anywhere. just create a directory and throw it in there. You can associate it manually to open with a right click on HTML files and clicking "Edit" from Windows "Folder Options". As soon as I figure out how to implement that into an install program I will. This program only requires the VB Runtime Files install above. |
![]() | Home Helper Version 1.0 This is just a simple program for storing a couple of lists in one place. I just created it because I was having trouble keeping track of stuff I needed to do in my new house. It has an option to print any one list to the default printer. This program can be run from anywhere. just create a directory and throw it in there. There are only two files but the program will install a sub directory when run the first time for the lists. This program only requires the VB Runtime Files install above. |
![]() | Shadowrun NPC Editor Version 1.0 When I used to GM Shadowrun (The first version of the RPG) I used this program to create and keep track of my Non-Player Characters. It's small and handy for that task. I don't know the rules for the other versions of Shadowrun but I'm sure the program could be expanded to accommodate them (since I still have the source code). This program can be run from anywhere. just create a directory and throw it in there. There are only three files that the program needs but a small readme file is included. This program requires the VB Runtime and the Access runtime files installs that are above. If you have MS Office 2000 or higher installed on your computer then you shouldn't need the Access runtime file installation. |
![]() | Vehicle Record Tracker Version 1.0 I've actually been using an older, text based version of this program that I wrote for years. Unfortunetly the program only saved one vehicle so I had to keep multiple folders to track all of my cars/bikes. So wrote this one recently to simplify things and post for others to use. This program not only stores everything you do to your car it also assists you in creating a webpage for your vehicle and stores a seperate page for each one. If fact, the pages for my vehicles on this site were created using it. This program can be run from anywhere. just create a directory and throw it in there. There are only four files that the program needs but a small readme file is included. This program requires the VB Runtime and the Access runtime files installs that are above. If you have MS Office 2000 or higher installed on your computer then you shouldn't need the Access runtime file installation. |
![]() | Darhold Money Tracker Version 5.42 This is the most recent version of a program that I've been using for quite some time. The previous one was lost to a thumbdrive failure and so I wrote this one from scratch this past year. I can honestly say that I believe it's my best one yet. It has the Darkhold Simple Calculator and a bargraph integrated into it. It also has better error handling than previous versions (which had none). Version 5.41 also saw the introduction of both a Budget and Sandbox window. The Sandbox allows you to "play" with your budget without changing anything permanently The Darkhold Money Tracker will run from any directory. Just create one and throw it in there. This program requires the VB Runtime and the Access runtime files installs that are above. If you have MS Office 2000 or higher installed on your computer then you shouldn't need the Access runtime file installation. | ![]() |
