Background: Family life wasn't at it's best. And one night while it was snowing I felt like just running away from my father and his control. I had changed the names while writing this to match the way I felt at the time. This event actually happened.
Written:Shortly after Graduating High School.
REX looked at the ground... At the lightly packed snow laying on the sidewalk and the rest of the yard. He then turned and gazed back at the house... At the door which he had just creeped out of less that ten minutes before.
He then took a deep breath and finally decided to try and listen to the many thoughts which had been bouncing around in his head ever since him and Mick had gotten off the phone.
He exhaled and turned his gaze torwards his car. It's dark gray body barely showing through the loose snow that covered it also.
He felt like going for a ride, pushing the car halfway down the street and then starting the engine as to not disturb the others. He knew this to work for him and Scorps had done so before. He would head down a road with little or no traffic, Whether it be straight, curved, narrow, wide... REX didn't even care If would be his last drive. As long as he relieved all of the tension corsing through his vains.
Mick had changed his life for the better, he loved her with all his heart. She had helped him realize his feelings for other things... That he could do more than hate and use others. He had considered things like tonight many times before Mick, and some during.
The one time his temper carried him near it and he had done considerable car damage and had endangered the lives of others.
The Tempo looked high and proud, the front end elevated on the incline of the spare parking space. This close to the road it would be easy to sneak out...
REX sighed.
He then turned and slowly headed back torwards the house.
